Review, edit or delete a framework
Approve, decline, change or remove a framework that Sophia or you created.
A framework is a note about one topic, concept or decision you teach, written down so your tutor can teach it your way. Sophia is SLAN's helper that drafts them. Nothing reaches your students until you approve it.
Approve or decline a draft
- Open your course from the Courses tab, then click Frameworks.
- Open a framework and read it.
- Click the Pending review tag, then Approve framework.
You're done when the tag says Approved. In the list, approved frameworks show no tag.
Not right? Click Decline instead. Then choose one:
- Roll back to previous approved version brings back your last approved copy.
- Delete framework removes it.
A new draft has no earlier version, so only Delete framework works.
Change a framework
- Open the framework and click Edit.
- Make your change.
- Click Save Changes.
Saving makes a new version and marks it Approved. To go back, click the version button, such as v2. Pick an older version, then click Restore version.
Delete a framework
Click the three dots on its row, then Delete. A box asks you to confirm. Click Delete again.
If one of your Multi stage tutors uses the framework, SLAN cannot delete it. A red message, Could not delete framework, names the stage that uses it. Remove the framework from that tutor's stage first, then delete it.
Find frameworks faster
Use the status filter to show Pending review, Approved or Declined. Switch between Table view and Grid by section with the two icons beside it.
After you change or delete a framework, a Sync Now banner may appear. Sync means update what students see. Click it.
