Getting started
Practical onboarding guides for educators and students. Where features are not shipped yet, the guide marks them explicitly.
Educators
SLAN Creator onboarding (recommended flow)
1) Create a course
Add course title, module structure (optional), and upload slides/PDFs/notes.
2) Extract frameworks
SLAN proposes frameworks automatically. Review and approve before learners see them.
3) Build ThinkingPaths
Compose steps (decision nodes) and define branching, completion checks, and guardrails.
4) Publish Nudges
Publish ThinkingPaths into student-facing Nudges. Keep versioning explicit.
5) Create cohorts
Add learners, generate registration links/codes, and configure access.
6) Iterate
Review usage signals and refine prompts, steps, and path structure.
Common setup questions to answer
- Which modules are “high leverage” for guided practice?
- What should students produce at the end of each path?
- What must be explicitly checked (constraints, assumptions, tradeoffs)?
- What content is permitted for grounding and what must remain private?
Students
How to use Nudge in a course
Join your cohort
Use the registration link/code provided by your instructor or program to access course Nudges.
Run a guided path
Pick what you’re trying to do (e.g., case recommendation) and follow prompts, decision checks, and next steps.
Artefacts (coming soon)
Exportable student outputs (artefacts like memos/outlines/plans) are planned. Until shipped, students can still copy outcomes from the final step of a Nudge.
