Update a Framework

Use this guide to edit, add, or delete frameworks.

This guide uses the Build vs. Buy Software Decision framework from Getting Started with Frameworks.

How to edit

1. Navigate to your course → Frameworks tab
2. Find the framework → click Edit
3. Make your changes
4. Click Save
5. Click Sync. Assistants won't see changes until you sync

How to delete

1. Navigate to your course → Frameworks tab
2. Find the framework → click Delete

Before deleting: Remove any references to this framework from your Thinking Path steps. Steps that reference a deleted framework will lose their framework connection silently.

After deleting: Click Sync. Until you sync, the assistant may still attempt to use a framework you've deleted.
