Getting Started

Build your first AI-powered learning experience

Follow these five steps to go from an empty course to a deployed assistant that guides your learners through structured decision-making.
← All guides
1

Create your Course

A Course is your top-level container. Set up the course name, description, access level, and upload your source materials (slides, PDFs, notes).

2

Build your first Framework

Frameworks are reusable units of decision logic — defined inputs, reasoning steps, and completion criteria. SLAN can propose frameworks automatically from your uploaded materials.

3

Design a Thinking Path

Thinking Paths are structured step-by-step workflows that guide learners from a problem definition to a completed output. Connect your frameworks to individual steps.

4

Set up an Assistant

Choose the right assistant type for your use case — from simple Q&A to full Thinking Path-powered guided experiences. Configure guardrails, personality, and access.

5

Deploy to learners

Sync your frameworks, attach your Thinking Path to an assistant, and publish. Create cohorts with registration codes or deploy as a public widget.
